Randolph and Bright Mini Park Improvements Project
RPD will have a Community Outreach Booth at our OMI Community Cleanup Saturday, May 11, 2024 (9AM- 11AM) at Randolph and Bright Mini Park at the corner of Randolph and Bright streets in the OMI!
San Francisco Recreation & Park Department (RPD), in partnership with KABOOM!, will be making improvements to Randolph and Bright Mini Park. Improvements will feature a new children’s Nature Exploration Area, seating, improvements to the irrigation system, landscaping, and fencing. Stop by the workshop table, chat with RPD and KABOOM! staff, and share your ideas for the design of this exciting, new play space! Our booth will be set up during the OMI cleanup event hosted by We Are OMI, Friends of the OMI Mini Parks, Ocean View Library, RefuseRefuseSF, Shine On, SF Parks Alliance, SF Public Works, and TogetherSF.
We welcome all generations to help inform what features you would like included in the space!

Friends of the OMI Mini Parks was awarded a Community Challenge Grant from the city of San Francisco to create a Nature Exploration Area for the OMI community on Brotherhood way! We will begun with Community Idea Jam to get feedback amd ideas from the community that will help inform the design of this wonderful addition to the greenway to provide a space for gathering, exploring and enjoying nature. We are excited to invite all members of the OMI community to create something special with us! More details to come 🙌
